इस असार संसारमें कुछभीअपने देहका साधनकर लेना चाहीये यहबात सत्य है, तथापी कलिकालमें समाधि जप तपादि साधन अत्यंत दुर्घट होपडे हैं तो धन, यश मोक्षकों देनेवाला यह शिवपार्वती संवादरुप जो 'स्वरोदय' शास्त्रहै इससे मनुष्योंके वांछितार्थ अव- श्य सिद्ध होवेंगे ऐसा बिचार कर प्राचीन हस्तलिखित पुस्तक तलाशकर उसपरस यह भाषांतर बनवाकर लोकहितार्थ सादर किया है आशाहै, कीं, इसमें कहे हुये विधिकें अनुसार जो लोग इसका उपयोग करेंगे तो धर्म, अर्थ, काम, मोक्ष यह करतलामल तुल्य होवें गे, क्योंकी साक्षात् शिवजीके मुखसे निकलेहुए विष- य हैं. इस शास्त्रको 'निगम ऐसी संज्ञा है. निगम उ सको कहिये की जो- (आगतं शिववचात्तुगतंच गि- रिजामुखे) तो इस ग्रंथको गुरुमुखसे समझकर इसक उपयोग करें यह मेरी प्रार्थना है।
