The work of managing the fund is done by a professional person who is called Professional Fund Manager. The job of a fund manager is to take care of the mutual fund and to invest the money in the right place to earn more profits. If put in simple words, its job is to convert people's invested money into profits. Registered under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) which regulates the market in India. The work of keeping investors' money safe in the market is done by SEBI. SEBI ensures that no company is cheating the people. Mutual Funds have been present in India for a very long time but even today people do not know much about it. In the initial times, people believed that Mutual Funds were only for the rich class. But this is not the case at all and in today's time this perception seems to be changing. People's inclination has increased towards mutual funds. In today's time, Mutual Funds are not only for the rich class.

जैसा की नाम से ही पता लगता है की क्या होता है? यह एक फंड (संग्रह) होता है जिसमे बहुत सारे निवेशकों का पैसा एक साथ पारस्परिक रूप से रखा जाता है धन के इस समूह को सबसे अधिक संभव मुनाफा अर्जित करने के लिए manage किया जाता है। बहुत सारे लोगों के पैसे से बना हुआ फण्ड होता है। जिसमे लगाया गया पैसे अलग अलग जगहों पर निवेश करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है और कोशिश की जाती है की निवेशक को उसकी रकम से ज्यादा से ज्यादा मुनाफा दिया जाए। Fund को प्रबंधित करने का काम एक पेशेवर व्यक्ति द्वारा किया जाता है जिसको पेशेवर फंड मैनेजर (Professional Fund Manager) कहा जाता है। Fund Manager का काम म्यूच्यूअल फण्ड की देख रेख करना व फण्ड के पैसे को सही जगह पर लगा कर अधिक मुनाफा कराना होता है। अगर आसान शब्दों में कहें तो इसका काम लोगो के लगाये गए पैसो को मुनाफे में बदलना होता है। सिक्योरिटीज एंड एक्सचेंज बोर्ड ऑफ इंडिया (SEBI) के अंतर्गत पंजीकृत हैं जो कि भारत में बाजार को नियंत्रित करता है। निवेशकों के पैसो को बाजार में सुरक्षित रखने का कामSEBI के द्वारा किया जाता है। SEBI द्वारा सुनिश्चित किया जाता है की कहीं कोई कंपनी लोगों के साथ धोखा तो नहीं कर रही। म्यूच्युअल फंड (Mutual Funds) भारत में बहुत लंबे समय से मौजूद है पर आज भी लोगों को इसके बारे में ज्यादा जानकारी नहीं है।
