In such a situation, the absence of good biographies of the great philosophers and pioneers of communism in Hindi was irritating. To achieve this effect, I resolved to write four biographies of Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Man-tse-tung. In these biographies, apart from life events, an attempt has also been made to present the principles and experiments of these great men.

 This biography has been written mainly on the basis of “Marx-Engels-Lenin Foundation” and “E. Lenin” published by Moscow, although at some places

साम्यवाद ( कम्युनिज्म ) ही मानव जाति की सारी बीमारियों की एक- मात्र रामवाण औषधि है, भारत का उद्धार भी उसी से है । ऐसी अवस्था में साम्यवाद के महान् तत्वदर्शियों और पथ-प्रदर्शकों की अच्छी जीवनियों का हिन्दी में न होना खटकता था । इसी प्रभाव की पूर्ति के लिए मैंने मार्क्स, लेनिन, स्तालिन और मान-त्से-तुंग की चार जीवनियाँ लिखने का संकल्प किया । इन जीवनियों में जीवन घटनाओं के अतिरिक्त इन महापुरुषों के सिद्धान्तों और प्रयोगों को भी रखने की कोशिश की गयी है ।

यह जीवनी मुख्यतः “मार्क्स-एंगेल्स-लेनिन प्रतिष्ठान” मास्को द्वारा प्रकाशित ” व” ई० लेनिन ” के श्राधार पर लिखी गयी है, यद्यपि कहीं-कहीं
